Two Little Donkeys


	Well I have a pasture with two little donkeys Two little donkeys who graze in the field They don't know the first thing about me and my baby But me and my baby know just how they feel Just look at the brown one, he's always half smiling Always half smiling and thinking of her She is the white one half giggling back at him Giggling back at him 'cause she knows she's his girl


	Now I am not saying that love is like a donkey But have you seen anything more simple and true Than the way they carry on the donkey-day long Giggling and smiling like I am with you Well my baby loves horses and she knows how to ride them And oh how she rides them whenever she can I can't afford her no horsey, so I bought her a donkey And she bought me a donkey to give hers a friend. Now I am not saying that love is like a donkey But have you seen anything more simple and true Than the way they carry on the donkey-day long Giggling and smiling like I am with you
